Terms of Use

The rules for using the IL.uz platform: accounts, the service, obligations, payments and liability.

Contents

1. General

IL.uz is an online platform for preparing, checking and presenting the employment applications of citizens of Uzbekistan to employers in the Republic of Korea (the “Platform”). The Platform is operated by SMA SYSTEM Co., Ltd (1220, 110 Eutteum-ro, Deogyang-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do 10543, Republic of Korea) (the “Operator”, “we”).

By registering on or using the Platform you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms of Use (the “Terms”), the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

The service agreement, the employer agreement and the statements confirmed when an application is submitted supplement these Terms. In case of conflict, the signed agreement prevails.

2. Definitions

  • User — any person with an account on the Platform: an applicant, an employer's representative or a partner agency's staff member.
  • Applicant — a citizen of Uzbekistan completing an application in order to work in the Republic of Korea.
  • Application — the information the applicant enters and the documents they upload on the Platform.
  • Personal card — the official document (개인신상카드) and the resume prepared from the application.
  • Employer — a company in the Republic of Korea verified and approved by the Operator.
  • Agency — a partner organisation that registers applicants.
  • Service agreement — the agreement between the applicant and the Operator that sets the scope of services, fees and refund terms.

3. Your account

  • The Platform is for persons aged 18 or over. One person — one account.
  • You register with accurate information and keep it up to date. If your email or phone number changes, update it in your dashboard.
  • Your sign-in details (email, password, Google account) are yours alone. Actions taken through your account are deemed to be yours. If you notice unauthorised access, change your password at once and tell us.
  • Employer and agency accounts work after the Operator's approval. A person acting on behalf of an organisation confirms that they are authorised to do so.

4. What the Platform does

The Platform helps the applicant complete the application step by step: uploaded documents are read and the fields filled in, the data is cross-checked, the personal card and resume are prepared, the application is reviewed by a staff member and presented to approved employers, and the status is reported in the dashboard and on Telegram.

  • Registration and submission of an application do not mean employment, an interview invitation or a visa.
  • The Platform is not a government body and does not act on behalf of the state. Only the Government of the Republic of Korea decides whether a visa is granted or refused; only the employer decides whether to hire.
  • The exact list of services, their timing and their price are set in the service agreement.

5. No guarantee

The Operator does not guarantee a visa, a job, an interview or its outcome. Whether a candidate is presented to employers depends on employers' needs, available vacancies, changes in legislation and the applicant's compliance with the requirements.

Any offer that promises a “guaranteed visa” is a sign of fraud. Please report such offers to us.

6. Your obligations

  • You upload only your own documents, unaltered. When another person's document, an edited copy or a forged document is found, the application is stopped and the account closed.
  • The information in the application is complete and true. You check the fields read automatically from a document against the document and confirm them — the final responsibility is yours.
  • You answer the questions on health, criminal record, deportation and visa refusals truthfully. Concealed information leads to a visa refusal and the termination of the agreement.
  • You provide any additional document, photo or information requested by a staff member within 5 calendar days.
  • You do not pass information about employers and interviews to third parties and do not conclude agreements with an employer bypassing the Platform.

7. Automated processing

The Platform reads documents automatically (passport, ID card, diploma, labour book, certificates), translates the data into English and Korean, compares the 3×4 photo with the person on the passport and ID card, and computes a completeness score for the application.

These results are assistive: every field can be edited by you and every application is reviewed by a staff member. No decision with legal effect is taken on the basis of automated processing alone.

8. Employers and agencies

  • An employer sees an applicant's profile without contact details, passport and ID card numbers or documents; contact is made only through the Platform. The name and photo are shown with the applicant's separate consent.
  • An employer uses the information received solely to hire for its own company, does not pass it to third parties and deletes it once the process is over (Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea — PIPA). A separate agreement applies to employers.
  • An agency sees only the applicants it registered and uses their data only to prepare the application.

9. Payments

  • The price of the service, the payment procedure and the refund terms are set in the service agreement and shown in full before any payment.
  • Payment is made only to the account stated in the agreement, against an invoice. Once online payment (Payme, Click) is available on the Platform, payment is also accepted that way. Cash and payments through intermediaries are not accepted.
  • Paid amounts are refunded in accordance with the refund terms of the service agreement.

10. Intellectual property

  • The Platform, its software, design, texts, forms and document templates belong to the Operator. Copying, modifying, distributing or using them in another product is prohibited.
  • The documents you upload and the information you enter remain yours. You grant the Operator the right to store, read, translate and prepare documents from them for the purpose of providing the service, and to pass them to the recipients named in the Privacy Policy.

11. Prohibited conduct

  • Opening an account in another person's name, opening several accounts, giving away or selling an account.
  • Uploading forged, altered or another person's documents; entering false information.
  • Accessing the Platform with automated tools, scraping data, circumventing security measures, uploading malicious code.
  • Copying or distributing data of employers, agencies or other applicants without permission.
  • Insulting, threatening or harassing staff or other users.

12. Suspension and termination

  • When the Terms are breached, a forged document or false information is found, or the law so requires, the Operator may suspend or close the account without notice.
  • You may ask to close your account at any time. Data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy, except records the law requires us to keep.
  • Closing the account does not cancel the parties' obligations under a signed service agreement.

13. Liability

  • The Operator is not liable for the decisions and actions of third parties (government bodies, employers, banks and payment systems, telecom operators) or for the consequences of incorrect or incomplete information you entered.
  • The Platform is provided “as is”: it may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance, connectivity failures or force majeure. Data is backed up regularly and service is restored promptly.
  • To the extent permitted by law, the Operator's liability is limited to the amount you paid under the service agreement. Liability that cannot be limited by law remains.

14. Changes to the Terms

We may update the Terms. We give at least 7 days' notice of material changes on the Platform and via Telegram; the current version and date are shown at the top of the page. Continued use of the Platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

  • These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Korea. Your mandatory rights under the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan (including the Law on Personal Data and consumer-protection legislation) remain unaffected.
  • Disputes are first resolved by negotiation: write to info@smasystema.com — we reply within 15 business days. If no agreement is reached, the dispute is resolved in court in the manner prescribed by law.
  • The Terms are drawn up in Uzbek and English; in case of discrepancy the Uzbek text prevails.
